You may have noticed that I have been a little MIA on the race course recently and wanted to give you a little update on my current situation and my plans for the coming months.
I have been dealing my a hamstring injury since June and have been receiving intense treatment for the past few months, even heading back to Australia for six weeks to see my physio. I was very much hoping to be back fit and ready to race for the 70.3 World Champs recently, but unfortunately that wasn’t meant to be. Despite things being definitely on the mend and heading in the right direction, I was not at the level I needed to be for a Championship event. That being said, I have returned to my training base in Boulder, Colorado, and am well on my way to getting back out on the race course very soon. I am planning my comeback race as 70.3 Miami on October 22nd. I will again be racing Island House Invitational Tri on November 17-18th, so will have that as a primary focus for the next two months.
Look forward to seeing you all out on course very soon.
